Organic food is a concept that refers to food that is raised or grown using the methods and standards of organic agriculture, which do not use: artificial chemicals such as pesticides, chemical fertilizers, preservatives…, growth hormones and antibiotics or genetically modified organisms.
In Vietnam, the trend of using organic food is becoming more and more popular. In addition to being a source of clean, healthy food for users, organic food farming also helps protect the environment, balance the ecosystem and preserve biological diversity.
To be certified organic, products must be grown and produced in compliance with the standards in the country in which the organic food is consumed.
